Son's Immigration

Post by Psunil » Mon May 03, 2010 8:46 pm

I will be finishing 4years HSMP and 1 year ILR i.e 5 years in total in UK on 3rd November 2010.
I will be applying for citizenship then.

My son aged came to UK first on 17 March 2007 when he was 14 years old, on my dependant HSMP visa.
He will be 18 years in October 2010 and he will still be in full time education.

Can he apply for Citizenship along with me on 3rd November 2010?
(Since he is still a dependant child and one year of full time education to go.)

Unfortunately, he will need to satisfy the naturalisation requirements if he's applying when he's 18 years old or over.
