Hello, I'm australian and plan on marrying my french girlfirend

Can anyone please tell me, how long after the marriage I will be able to work in France?

So your French fiancée is living and working in France. accordingly this is nothing to do with the terms of the EU Directive, and all to do with French immigration law.

I think your fiancée should do some research and ascertain what are the requirements for the needed visa, and what rights such visa gives.

Where are the two of you intending to marry? Which country?
