Part of salary in cheque

Post by aspirant99 » Sun May 30, 2010 4:58 pm

Hi,

Part of my salary is in cheques which I have deposited in my account. The amount on the bank statement exactly matches the net mentioned on the payslips.

I am mentioning that the salary paid in cheques in the covering letter, marking the bank statements with a sketch when the amount was credited , also providing the copy of the cheques that were issued to me by the employer. Will this suffice?

Hi ,

Just make sure the cheque are coming from your employer and are in your name .......... with this nothing is wrong and you are good to go .. if on the another hand it's not from the company , than there will be a problem and they will verify your case which equates to delay in your TIER1 . To get it simple

1) Your cheques must be coming from your company.
2) Bank statement clearly showed them .
3) Amount in salary slip issued from company as per visa requirement is the same as the amount deposited in bank

from 1-3 if you are ok! ........... than no problem Good luck!
Thanks

Ali

Thanks for this!!

For 1) Yes it is coming form the company. I have the cheque numbers and copies of it
2) Bank statements shows the exact amount that has been credited which matches the payslip. However since I have deposited the cheque therefore the transaction description does not mention the company name. Will this be ok?
3) Yes the amount de[osited matches exactly the amount diaplyed on the salary slip
