Citizenship calcellation after 2 years

Hi Experts,

I am on ILR visa at present and eligible for citizenship, like to gain UK citizenship. But dont know if I want to go back to my birth country (India) after few years, so dont want to loose my Indian citizenship. But someone told me that I can become citizen of UK now and if I really want to goback to india after few years. I can cancel my UK citizenship, so automatically i will gain my Indian citizenship back. Is this true?. Help me out of this question.
