I was wondering if anyone here has previously enlisted the help of immigration lawyers for their application?
My girlfriend is looking to get an umarried partner visa and we are wondering if it would be advisable to get help from immigration lawyers/solicitors.
I would appreciate it if someone could post their experiences and opinions if they have used lawyers in the past.

There is no need. The application is straight forward. There are no tricks. If you have specific questions post them here and get free advice.

As an Unmarried Partner Visa tends to come under even greater scrutiny than a Spouse visa, if the cost of legal fees isn't an issue I would always advise seeking professional help. Although Moderators and members can offer help from general knowledge or personal experience, none of us are infallible.
If you decide to instruct someone professionally, make sure they are either an OISC Registered Immigration Advisor, or a solicitor specialising solely in Immigration Law and a member of the Law Society.
