Travel Date and Multiple Entry for Tier 1

I am currently residing outside the UK and will be applying for a Tier 1 Visa soon. I'm hoping to submit before Wednesday and hope I can get an answer to the following quickly

a) If I submit my application before the end of this month will I still be subject to the new visa limits ?

b) In the form VAF9 the first question is
"On which date do you wish to travel to the UK"
I plan on getting the Visa and then start applying for jobs remotely.
I will only travel to the UK once I have interviews lined up.
There's just no way for me to figure out before hand when I wish to
travel to the UK. All I can do is make an honest guess. I'm not sure if
that is acceptable.
i) Any advice on what I should do here ?
ii) Is this date significant ? I mean will my visa be revoked if I get it
wrong.
iii) Will my application be processed more slowly if I put a date too far
in the future ?
iv) After getting the Visa must I travel to the UK within a certain time ?

c) Is the Tier 1 (General) Visa multiple entry ?
That is to say can I enter and leave the UK multiple times without
requiring anything else ?

wrong. No your visa wont be revoked. You can enter an approximate date.

in the future ? Applications are dealt with in the basis of first come first serve.
