Procedures required

Hi,

Currently I'm on PSW and this expires september 20th this year. My employer is going to put me on the tier 2 sponsorship programme, however they don't have a licence, although they are getting one.
i've been told by my HR dept that i don't have to do anything apart from them applyign this for me, however I'm pretty sure that I have to at least submit my passport, bank details etc for the home office to approve! Can someone confirm that the following needs to be done:

1) My company applying a foreign licence
2) I apply with the necessary required for switching of psw to tier 2 sponsor
3) wait for answer

With point 1, does my company have to do anything else apart from applying the licence?
