How good is the payment slip?

Post by dabar » Sat Nov 26, 2005 7:33 pm

Hi,
Has any one used the payment slip from HO's website for credit/debit card payments? What was your experience? Did the payment took place without any problem?

I suspect that it is good only for cheque/postal order payments. If you use it for card payment there is no place on the slip to say how much you want to pay with your card.

When I submitted my Naturalisation application at Hatfield NCS, I asked the same question to the NCS lady. She gave me another IND payment slip which looked good. I used that. And my card was debited correctly this week.

Please share your experiences.

Yes, I agree that the payment should be improved into more accurate.

In my case, I provided my barclays visa debit card number and the NCS staff also wrote down the total amount. However, the acknowledgement letter said my payment is not enclosed, either NCS staff forgot to attach it or lost it at HO.

I would suggest the payment slip should be designed into the first or final page of AN(new) form. It will be easily to verify if the amount you paid is correct and unlikely to be lost.
