Does child benefit and tax credit affect my application

Post by shasili07 » Thu Jul 08, 2010 5:31 am

Hello,
I have been married to an EEA national since 2005, the marriage broke down in 2009 and a divorce certificate was issued. i have my own P60 for five years, and i have for my ex-wife 3 self assessment tax calculation, 2 P60 , and letters confirming her places of work in 2005. I also have bills and other document that show that we live together for more than 3 years.
I have been receiving child benefit and tax credit since 2007. my question is will child benefit and tax credit affect my application for retention of resident permit.
