I have two year visa/spouse.My husband has a uk registered charity in Uganda. He wants to stay 6 months in uk and 6 months in Uganda to run the charity with me. Will this affect me getting ILR? please help because it worries me. Thanks.

Thank you very much for taking your time to reply me back. When i apply for ILR to remain is my husband allowed to write a letter explaining why i spent alot of days abroad? Is there any other documents they may asked to prove? My husband and i dont get paid by charity.

There is no restriction on absences from the UK when applying for settlement as spouse of settled person / citizen. SET (M) doesn't ask for any such information.

This said, absences from UK will influence as to when you'll be able to naturalise as spouse of a British citizen.
