What sort of evidence do you need to show maintenance funds?

Post by mia777 » Fri Aug 06, 2010 2:43 pm

Hi,

At http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/study ... ce/money/#, in the "General Principles" section, it states: "a letter from a bank confirming that funds have been held for a consecutive 28-day period ending no more than one month before the date of your application."

What sort of letter is this?

I have a signed/dated/logo-decorated letter from my banker saying I have X number of dollars in cash to cover the course and have had it in for 28 days.

Is this all I need to show that I can cover my fees if X is enough money to cover the necessary fees?

Thanks,

Okay. So according to section 156.iii and 156.i of that document, a written letter from my personal banker with the required information listed in the guidance, and solely this letter, is enough evidence?

Thank you.

Yes, if it states so!
