If you carried out your marriage ceromony or registered your marriage in the UK, then you will have to get a divorce through UK courts as well as the Islamic one in Malayasia.

If you carried out your marriage in Malayasia and on the basis of that you came to teh UK as the spouse of someone settled in UK, then the islamic divorce you carry out in your own country( providing it is legally recognised by Malaysian law) should suffice. You dont need to go through a British court.................. however a word of warning though, you may not be entitled to any legal right in respect of any share of any property/money etc from your husband. Whilst your islamic divorce may be accepted in UK, you can not enforce any of your rights, unless you start proceedings through a UK court.

Hope you understand this.
