Query on Previous earnings

Post by T1-aspirant » Thu Aug 19, 2010 1:12 am

I'm currently working in UK on Tier 2 ICT and planning to apply for Tier 1 General in the coming week. I need your advice on claim for previous earnings. I'm considering duration between 29-May-2009 to 28-May-2010 for earnings. As I have received Salary of May 09 and May 10 (both inclusive) well with in these dates, I effectively see 13 month salary credits as per the bank statements. Please note that the individual salary slips cover the period between 1st and Last day of the month. Will this be considered as 13 month earnings or 12 months? Can I claim extra credits in this scenario. Kindly request your inputs.

Two credits in the same month ... but for salary payouts of two different months ... doesn't mean that your salary or your income (for that month) has doubled!

Claim points for income earned on basis of 12 months' salary (12 salary slips)!

SushDMehta Sir, thanks a lot for your advice. In the similar note, I have one more query.

I travelled to UK in the middle of the month (On 14th of month). Should I claim INR multiplier (5.3) only for the days worked in India (in the above case 13 days alone in the month) or can I claim for the complete month.
Kindly request your inputs. I looking for a soft corner to enhance my points.
