Got the visa but stayed behind for long

Post by Khadar » Mon Aug 23, 2010 10:52 am

My wife got her visa to join me in the UK after a one year appeal process.
By the time she was given the visa, she was doing her Masters degree and had to complete. She stayed behind for one year of the 27 month visa duration and now wants to join me.
What does she need to do now? just travel or what?
Please help me out of the confusion

Please don't make multiple posts on the same topic.

When in UK she will need to apply for extension of stay near to expiry of her current visa as she wouldn't have completed 2 years in the UK by that time (expiry of current visa) to be eligible for settlement.
