Unless you can explain your circumstances in detail it is difficult for anyone to answer your query accurately.

Tier 1 General Extension Please clarify …

Post by ineffablep » Thu Sep 02, 2010 4:13 pm

I got Tier 1 visa in July 2008; I travelled back to India in Feb 2009. I worked in India as of now.
I got Job in UK; I have to go for extension on July 2011.
So Can I show 4 Months India Salary and 8 Months UK salary for July 2011 Extension.
If the rule not allow, I am not eligible for extension for only 8 months salary. So I want to continue in my current job in India.
So please clarify me ASAP.

Thanks

Unless your employer can certify that you were employed in the UK but working in India as a mandatory requirement of your job (in the UK), it is probably not going to be possible.

This way anyone can continue to work overseas and earn there, land in UK one week before expiry of visa and apply for extension claiming points for his overseas earnings.

IMHO ...
