Reference Letter

Hi everybody,

one of the documents that schools could use to assess the applicant level of english for english courses in original reference letter. Anybody knows what is it?

My school decided to give me an original letter that explains I did an online test at a specific date with them and my result say CEFR B1. Is it a reference letter or certificate of qualification?
