Non EU national divorcing EU national in the UK. Documents?

Hi there.

Im thinking about devorcing my wife who is EU national, which I am not.
We were married for more then 4 years now and lived in the Uk for more then 4 years as well.
As far as I am concerned it does make possible for me to stay.

Would you please confirm that?

Also would I need to imform HO and what documents will I need to provide??

Would new residency for me granted automaticly if both of us were working on constant basis in the UK for last 4 years and we are , me and wife, both holders of residency cards???

LAst question - would home office issue some kind of recidency permit which will entitle me to travel within schengen zone freely?

As at the moment, when you married, its requiried that your spouse should travel with you in order to gain entrance to schengen zone by using UK residence permit as a substitute of visa. Am I right??
