BUSINESS VISA OVER TIER-1

Hi,

I am TIER-1 visa holder in Inida and I am working in India. My visa is getting expeird in March 2012.
I need to travel to UK on my company work. Company is insisting me to apply for business visa.
My concern is over TIER-1 status.
Does business visa overwrites the TIER-1 Visa? and my tier-1 visa will get cancelled after getting business visa.
Can I have both visas on my passport?

Does anyone had same situation earlier.

Will they not let you travel to the UK on your Tier 1 ?

I need to again check with my company.
They are reluctant for sending me on TIER-1
