Hi,
I need help with trying to understand the naturalisation process and when I can apply.
I received my ILR (HSMP Judicial Review on completion of 4yrs) on 13 July 2010 (stamp on my passport) however I was given a seperate letter at the Home office stating my ILR for purposes of Naturalisation is from 29 Nov 2009.
Is it correct that I can put in my naturalisation application from 30 November 2010 (after 1 year on my ILR visa) The person I spoke to at the checking service said this date is correct, however when I spoke to someone at the home office thay say I can only apply on 30 December 2010 not 30 November 2010.
Also am a required to do the Life in the UK test if I have my ILR under the HSMP Judicial Review of 4 year qualifying period?
I am finding all the information on the Home office website very confusing
and would appreciate your urgent help.
Thanks
