Experience Letter on current Date

Post by Kibria » Sun Jan 29, 2006 2:10 pm

Dear All,
I want a suggestion regarding experience letters.
I have worked for two companies during the last 9 years but don't have their experience letters as new company didn't ask for it.

I worked for a company then I joined another company and then I rejoined back the same company.

After rejoining they sent me to their UK office. My questions are

1. Is it ok to get past experience letters and get it issued on todays date. This is beacuse Iworked for the company from 1997-2002, then I joined another company and worked for 1 year 2002-2003 and after that I rejoined the first company in 2003.

2. As I was transferred to UK office (a different office but the same company), do I need a separate experience letter of that company?

Regards
Kibria

you don't mention why you need the letters for. hsmp? if so it is better to have all the letters issued and provide a written explanation on your work experience adventures (moving back and forward). also I don't see any problem of getting any letter issued to the date as it is clear you requested them to be issued upon demand from hsmp. nobody requires from you to store recommendation letters in the drawer until somebody one day will ask them from you. being in your situation I requested a letter from the company I worked for several years ago. it was also in a different country than that I was in at the moment of application. in short, you have no problem at all of getting your letters issued upon request and to the date.
