There will be one when UKBA announces any change in rules.

As on date the govt. / UKBA has only announced closure of Tier 1 (General) route from April 2011, nothing more.

Coz I was planning to extend my visa next year.
Just out of curiosity I read the recent updates on UK Immigration.
which is potentially going to bring an end to the Tier 1 (Gen) Visa.

(Although it is a bit early to ask) My question is

What will happen to Tier 1 extentions after April 2011.

(To my knowledge there will be enormous number of ppl whose Tier 1 gets expired after Apr 2011.)

Does that mean a dead end to the Tier 1 extensions as well.

I think at present the in-country Tier 2 prospects are much better which gives you a 3 yr visa.
Which is of course not an easy task unless you are vry lucky.
