Is working possible while waiting for EEC2 to be approved?

My husband is French and I currently have a 6 months family permit visa. Can I work while waiting for my EEC2 form to be approve by the home office?

Assuming the application for the extension was made before the stated expiry date .... then yes you can work! This is because the old permit is "treated as continuing" while the application is dealt with.

Can you explain more? Are you in employment and your employer is wondering whether you can continue working at the moment?

Or are you just thinking about seeking employment?
