WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK??

So can anyone think of any reason why it could take 10 months, maybe a slightly more complex immigration history, my husband was an asylum seeker whos claim was rejected, marriage application refused with their suggestion of returning back to his home country and applying from there based on our marriage, which was granted did not take too long. His ILR was straight forward, dealt with in the time frame, so why is this taking so long. We was thinking they might have lost his paperwork??? A VERY BAD SYSTEM!
