PSW maintenance funds

i need help, my visa is ending on 01/03/11 and i need to apply for a PSW visa. the problem is with my funds, i understand you need to have £800 for a 90 day period and the issue with me is that i had some rents and direct debits to pay which reduced my funds. At the time of my visa renewa i will have bank statements with over £800 but kept just for 2 and half months?? are they so strict with the 90 day period or i can still send with my 75 days?
i was also thinking of getting statements from my savings account in my home country to top up from the ones i have in Uk and send them together.my home country statements have had the required £800 for the past three months

if both accounts are under your name, then you can use both accounts to show the required balance.

so, basically, you can show that for all 90 days you had 800 pounds in the account, when balance of two account is combined
