switching student visa to working visa ..??

hi ,, i am student living in uk for last 3 and half years , my visa will be expired on 2th of fab. i will apply for an extension under student visa, meanwhile i am working at a night club as a waiter ,, my manager was telling me if i need any help from them to switch my visa from student to work permit they will love to help with it ,, they want me to stay with them, now my question is, as far as i know waiter is not under skill worker therefore my application will not satisfy the rules, now is there anything i can do to switch my visa to work permit ,, thank you
