Non EU and Non EU married in UK. Pls Help

Post by thermalboyz » Fri Jan 21, 2011 9:52 pm

Hi, i am happy that i found this forum. Lots of useful information and discussion can be found here. I've search the forum for similar case with mine but fail. So, i decided to post it here and hopefully someone can advice me on what to do next.

I am Malaysian working in UK. I have Work Permit Visa since 2007 (Valid for 5 years) expire in Autumn 2012. I am thinking to get a PR here after 5 years completed. I am 30 this year.

I have a girlfriend in Russian (she is Russian), we met in 2008 online and then we are in relationship since end of 2008. we met each other during our holiday 2-3 times a year. We only meet while during our holiday because she is in Moscow and i am here in UK. (Long distance relationship). Now we are planning to end this long distance relationship and get married. She will come to join me in UK. I have all the proof that this is a genuine relationship support by emails, photos, hotels, flights bookings etc. She is 27 this year.

My questions as follows;
1.What are the differences if we married while i am with Working Permit compare to after getting ILR (Permanent Resident status)?
2.What are the differences if we married outside UK compare to married in UK? (with the case of Work Permit status and PR status)
3.Will she have visa problems on either routes of marriage?
4.What sort of forms and documents needed to apply her visa to enter to UK?

I thank you all first and hopefully someone can help on my situation.
