need urgent advice

I have a Tier 1 visa issued on 24th April 2009 valid till 24th April 2012.I left UK on July 2010 and am currently based in India for the last 6 months due to job change and health issues.
My question is can I come back to the UK on this visa or do i need to apply for any additional visa.
What is the maximum period one can stay outside UK on the Tier 1 visa?
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

you can go back to uk that should nt be an issue but ur not eligble for settelment.
