Hi

I'm currently working in a private health sector and I want to join in another area for which I've cleared the interview and got the offer letter . My employer have applied for COs and made the payment on 31 st jan . payment was made by cheque. May i know by what date can i expect the Cos. Also can you tell me how long it may take to get an appointment for visa application. If applying by post how long will it take for getting visa.

you must wait until 1st march panel.. thats when decision on your COS app will be announced.

My understanding was the panel approval is needed only for new employers wanting to enter the sponsor register not for COS applications from an A rated existing sponsor. Could you please clarify this?

no, the panel is the only body who decides who to issue COS... no one is exempted....

all tier 2 extension applicants are garanteed a COS
