Can International Student earn money through CFD trading?

Post by studentintheuk » Mon Feb 07, 2011 8:47 am

Hi

I am currently in the UK on a student visa. I wish to earn money and one way I want to do is by trading through cfds [contract for differences] or spread betting.

My query is can I legally earn money through this method while I am in the UK or will I be breaking any rules regarding my student visa?

Thanks in advance to any replies.

International students cannot provide services and they cannot do any kind of business as well.

Don't know how exactly you trade, but work rules state hours you can work as student. As soon as you earn money, you are suspicious. Even if it were allowed, how would it work in context of hours permitted?

I wouldn't do it...
