Indefinate Leave to Remain

Post by Yas » Mon Mar 13, 2006 10:03 pm

Hello

We went to the home office in croydan today and was pleasently surprised by the process. We were sucessful in obtaining my husbands spouse visa :).

However, it states on the letter about applying for idefinate leave to remain in the UK 28 days before his spouse visa expires. Does anyone know what we need to start collecting now in order for him to obtain idefinate leave to remain?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Yasmin

Congratulations on the spouse visa being granted.

To get ILR in nearly two years time the form SET(M) will need to be used. Download a copy of that form by clicking here. Having done so in particular study page 16 of 20 .... all the information you need is there.

And for the second time ... congratulations ... this time on having the foresight to start considering the documentary requirements this early. So many people have a real panic near the end of the two year period.
