ESOL collage now not accredited

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone can help me..

Basically, my wife has been in the UK for almost 2 years now on a spouse visa.

During this time she has been doing an english course through the local collage which at the time was accredited. She passed her test about a year ago and has recieved a certificate.

However, I have recently discovered that the collage and the lady that was doing the classes is now not accredited by the home office. Furthermore, she is refusing to complete the home office form confirming the collage status.

What should I do? Will my wife need to do another course as she only has a month left or will the home office accept the certificate as the collage was accredited when it was issued to us??

Is she looking to apply for an extension (FLR(M)) or ILR (SET(M))?

Could she take the life in the UK test if it's the latter?

Hi, its the SET(M) application. She has the ESOL certificate but I dont think she could do the life in the UK test.

What options do I have?

We will accept that a college meets the definition of an 'accredited college' if it was accredited on the date when you obtained your qualification, or if it is accredited on the date when your settlement application is decided.

So if she has the certificate - it's fine.
