Delay to issue COS

Post by DEEPALEE » Thu Feb 24, 2011 2:39 pm

Hi
I am Tier 2 Skilled worker since 2008 and was in shortage occupation with salary more than 35000 per year.I have decided to change my job and now I have accepted a job offer in non shortage occupation with salary more than 30000/year and RLMT done by the sponsor.
HR has applied for COS and what are the chances I can get COS and how long it takes?
My present visa is valid till 2012,so if I get a visa is it for next 3 years from now or for 2 years from now.
Thanks !!

don't quit your current job!

wait until you get a COS

its anybody's guess if you will get a cos for 30k non-shortage occupation

cos will be decided by a panel on 1st march. so expect to get informed of their decision in a week's time afterwards
