hello everyone. i am wondering if anybody have any suggestions how can i deal with my problem.
i arrived in the country when i was 15. i was granted discretionary leave to remain because my asylum application was unsuccessful.
i went to school and did my GCSEs and than i went to college to do my A-levels. I got A*AA. i applied for universities and all of them are in England. before i applied i was told that i was home student because of my emigration status. however i received news on 9th of February that home office changed its law and now i count as international student. because of my family circumstances i am not able to pay £11,000 per year.
i think it is very inhuman to make such a laws especially when i have already Applied and i got unconditional offer and i have already confirmed my offer.
is there anything i can do about it? i was told that Wales charges home tudent fees but now it is too late. i have made my 5 choices and i confirmed my first choice. i would appreciate any advice. thank you.

I agree the situation for someone in your situation is very unfair. Have you tried speaking to your chosen universities to see if the would make an exception or if you are eligible for a scholarship?
