HOMEOFFICE APPEALED 1YR NOW

Hi Guys

I have got a friend who is in need of help, if anyone gat any ideas on the same thats great thanx.This guy was sentenced to 9months when got working illegaly in 09 but there wasn't a recommendation for deportation by the court, thou the ukba were insisting that he was recommended.Anyway after doing his time he was detained for a year,during his detention he then had to go to the tribunal to challenge his deportation of which the Judge ruled in his favour on grounds of article 8 and asylum.

However, the ukba lodged in an appeal in feb 2010 its a year now and the courts havent fixed a date for hearing,his not detained now as he applied for bailed and was granted.His rang the court and they tell him that they are still waiting to fix the date.Can someone pliz advice on what the best way forword would be.
