Visa for Sibling

Post by aspirant09 » Mon Mar 21, 2011 3:44 pm

Hi,
I wish to apply for a Family Visa for my Sister (married) so that she can stay with me and my family and work here. She has visited me as a tourist in the past ( twice).
I have been living in the UK for the past 4.5 years and should get ILR in six months time.
What is the way to go about that.

Thanks in Advance.
:-)

there is no such thing as a family visa for a married sibling. the only way an adult sibling would qualify would be if she was dependent on you, she was living alone in her country and there were compelling compassionate circumstances why she should be able to join you. Given that she is married and presumably lviing with her husband in her home country I can't see that she would meet the requirements.
