Family Friends - Referee

Hi,

One of my referee has mentioned in his reference (in AN form) that he is my family friend. Is that OK ? Or do i need to have it removed?

He was also my Accountant, so someone of professional standing.

So Family friend does not fall under the category of "they are not a relative"??

Relatives mean either they or blood related or related by marriage/civil partnership.
