Tier1 general Extension granted for 2 years instead of 3 :(

Hi guys, I have been granted HSMP to Tier1 General visa extension and case worker made an error while granting extension he gave us (me and my two dependants) two years extension instead of 3 years.

My initial visa was granted for two years only.

I contacted customer services and they advised me to write a letter to the case worker and wait for his reply.

Can anyone please advise if there is anything else I could do, I already wrote a letter to the case worker though.

Hi,
Could you pls let the board know ehen did you get your initial Visa .
I understand that the extensions are of 3 years only for those guys who get there initial Visa after 6th April 2010 and initial validity of only 2 years.
For people with initial Visa issues before 6th April , you get a initial Visa of 3 years and extensions of 2 years each.

I got my initial visa in may 2008, and my extension was initially rejected and then finally i won the appeal in december 2010, and got visa in march which is valid till 28th march 2013 (only for two years)

so i suppose to get three years extension not 2 years, which is a clear error by the case worker.
