Need Help on Previous Earning period

Hi,

I need urgent advice on the Tier 1 application,I have to apply on 4th April 2011,My earning period is 11 Jan 2010 to 31 Dec 2010.My question is

1.Can I claim for Jan 2010 period.?
2.I am claiming for 20 days in Jan 2010, but my salary slip states date as 01.01.2010 to 31.01.2010. and salary is credited in my bank account on 29th Jan 2010.Is this valid to claim for 20 days.

Please help and provide your valuable advice.
