Hi
Do anyone know to what extent does the caseworkers stick to their guidelines? Do you know anyone who got through with the problems described below. Please post!! I'm sure there are lot of aspirants who'll be be having one of these problems. It'll help many of us if you know the answers for the below.
I'm on a student visa (haven't finished course yet- so, out-of-country application) wishing to apply for HSMP. My points split is as follows:
5 - Under 28
15 - education (bacheor's degree in india equivalent to BSc (Hons) in UK)
25 - work exp. (graduate level work exp. in india before coming to UK)
25 - earning power
10 - unmarried partner (been living for more than 2 years)
----
80
Now, my case is
1. I've an experience of 20 months after graduation and 22 months during graduation (Bachelor in Civil Enginnering, India) both at graduate level - is this experience considered for gaining points in this category bearing in mind that part of my exp was gained while doing graduation
2. I do not have strong evidence to prove my earnings (e.g. bank statement or tax returns-haven't kept any records) as my exp. was gained more than 3 yrs ago. But, my previous employer is very helpful and is willing to provide me with income summary for 12 months on company letterhead and reference letter. he is also willing to give me fresh payslips for the dates i've requested for with attestation. - is this sufficient? do i need any other supporting evidence
3. because i haven't finished my course, would there be any problem at EC/FLR (it's not easy to get EC from embassies in India even if you've all the documentation right).
4. my application will be an 'urgent treatment' one as I've a job that's starting soon - comments please
Any advice is highly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Kumar
