PLEASE HELP. I NEED YOUR ADVICE URGENTLY.

I came in uk 2001, i seeked asylum and i was given 3 years discretionary leave to remain. just before my leave expired my solistor wrote to the home office. the home office wrote back to me that your application has been allocated to a caseworker to be considered but i can still remain here on the same conditions previously granted until the application is decided. i am now 7 months pregnant so i applied for section 4 support, 2 weeks after i applied my section 4 support was refused. this is what they wrote. ;you are refused section 4 support for the following reasons, you applied asylum in 2001 and you were given DLR, you submitted an in time application for further leave to remain and as such the entitlements given to you at the time you were granted still apply. as you have submitted an in time application you cannot be therefore be deemed as a failed asylum seeker and you are not entitled to section 4 support. guys, that is my story. pls tell me, what will i do next? please advice me.

What is your current visa?

Wht UKBA have said is correct. Section 4 support is only for failed asylum seekers and if you are not under that category then you can not claim support.,

People with discretionary leave have recourse to public funds. UKBA have confirmed that you have made an in time application to extend your leave and therefore your rights and entitlements remain the same.

Therefore you can apply for mainstream state benefits such as JSA, Income Support, Housing Benefit etc depending on your income and capital etc, once you have your child you would be able to claim Child Benefit and possibly child tax credit and working tax credit again depending on your financial circumstances.

My home office reference number disapeared 8 months ago. basiaclly am on legacy. i never call home office but my solistor has written chase letters but they don't respond. has anyone come 2 such a situation? am worried coz i don't know why they take too long long 2 make decision. my story,i came in uk 2001 claimed asylum and i was given 3 yrs discretionary leave to remain. made a further leave to remain but on pending ever since. pic request last year and ref disapeared one month after i posted the pictures. Guys wat do think, good news or bad news. any information is welcome.
