Urgent support needed regarding our Tier 4 Visa application

Post by petaro » Fri Apr 22, 2011 11:09 pm

Dear all,

I have been reading your comments and expert advice on several immigration issues, and I found this forum is very useful, however I need your expert advice on our fresh Tier 4 visa application. I have been granted a first student visa back in 2003, and I lived in the UK until August 2008, however In 2007, I have been offered a job placement, where I worked until March 2008 on their work permit but unfortunately due to a credit crunch my company asked me to leave due to a lack of in house projects. I also apply for some loan and used some overdraft facility in 2007 but I could not pay off because I had no income to pay monthly instalments. In May 2008, I had a job offer from Qatar company and I left the UK without paying them off. Now I and my wife are planning to come back to UK, but this time, my wife will be the main applicant (Tier 4 Student Visa) and my son and I will be on dependant visa, mainly I have some important questions to ask regarding our application, I would highly appreciate your expert advice on that;

1. I believe that I have a bad credit history in the past, and we are now applying for a fresh student and dependant visa outside from the UK, you think that the home office will check my (Dependant) previous history and they will make a decision based on that, or home office has no connection with the banks etc?

2. How far the immigration will assess our application, however my wife already met the minimum requirement for student visa?

3. In addition to this I have never been convicted in any criminal offence, but unfortunately I was unable to pay my loans and credit card payment off, does our previous history will effect our visa application, my wife and my son visa?

4. I am now willing to pay all of my debts in the UK and I will never apply for any loan and credit cards again in my entire life.

I would highly appreciate for your prompt response.

Thanks

There may be CCJs against you or pending court orders, depending on how big the debts were and/or how persistent were the lenders to recover their money from you.

If you are willing and able to, pay off any debt you may owe and then apply.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

I think you should be ok as long as getting visa and entry into UK is concerned.

But you will find it difficult for future credit applications but you can always negotiate with your previous creditors and pay in installments.

as long as your visa is concernd you will not have any problem if you are not convicted in this matter secondly this is a civil matter and it has nothi g to do with you visa application. time you come to uk contact dedbt management agencies and they can setup payback plan for you hope it answer the question
