EC Refused, Can get clearance the next time?

Post by touchsensor » Thu Apr 13, 2006 1:43 pm

Hi,

My EC was refused because I didn't have my travel itinary for visitor visa and the EC officer was not convinced that I plan to come back after my visit. I am planning of reapplying, will I be refused again because of the earlier refusal?

Please advice.

Thanks.

What country are you from?
In a few years time we'll look back on immigration control like we look back on American prohibition in the thirties - futile and counter-productive.

I am from Malaysia. I am not a visa national but I was in UK on a working holiday maker visa and was refused HSMP because insufficient work experience. My WHM visa expired by then and FLtR was refused because HSMP was refused. I returned home and would like to go back to UK to meet my friend who is there. As far as I know I have not overstayed.

Please advice

Thanks

If you are not a visa national then why did you apply for entry clearance as a visitor? You should be able to just get on a plane and arrive in the London as a visitor.

Well I was told it is safer to get an entry clearance since I left the UK after the expiry of working holidaymaker visa due to HSMP application and FLtR pending. I was worried as I don't want to be subjected to cruel immigration control.
