Masters with Tier-1

This is an area for the discussion of matters related to issues about moving from one country to another. Examples could be about money transfer, moving and packing, validity of driving licence, etc..

It is not a general non-immigration, free-for-all area.

Post by light_tunnel » Sat Apr 30, 2011 12:49 pm

Has anybody on a Tier-1 done their Masters. Would the fees applicable be for International Students or Domestic?

Thanks..

Legally you are not supposed to do a full time Masters. Part time, executive and distance learning are allowed but usually at international rates. Many colleges do look at your case if you make a request. This is because few colleges only require you to be resident in the UK to qualify for local fees while others require you to be in the UK for the past 3 years.
So you can always ask but remember full time Masters are not allowed.
