Ancestry Dependancy over 18yr

My father initially applied for ancestry with me included as a dependant. At the time of application I was 17 and automatically qualified as a dependant. Four years later he renewed his ancestry status as did I, however as I was over 18 I had to apply under a separate application, but still as a dependant (I am one generation to far down to qualify for ancestry).

The visa which I was issued on renewal is a Residency Permit marked as 'limited leave to remain' and makes no reference to me being a dependant to my father as the previous visa did: 'to acc parent'.

Am I still linked to him?
