Student visa to India

I got an admission in India for my further studies. I am U.S.A. citizen and also have OCI for India.

I want to know that do I have to apply for student visa and or No objection certificate for US?

If I do have to apply then where and how do I apply?

If you have an OCI, then you do not need a student visa.

Why do you want a 'No objection certificate' ?

If you have passed your course in the US and have a course completion certificate, which they issue once you have paid all your dues and cleared the course with the necessary grades, then you do not need anything else.
