Tier 1 Dependents filing for Visitor Visa

Hi All,

Request for your advice. I am on tier-1 general permit here in UK. Where as my dependents (i.e. My Wife and Our Daughter) are in India.

I wish to call them here.

Although they are eligible to apply for Dependants of Tier-1 main applicant, but I wish to have the information regarding If they can be called upon on Visitor Visa.

Since My wife has got her professional engagements in India and my Daughter who is just 1.5 years old will be starting her schooling next year, which we intend to do in India.

We are as it is not planning of them being staying here for more than 5-6 months.

Can we file for visitor visa for my dependents?

You can file for Family visitor but then Visit visas are more difficult and if you tell them you are coming here for 5-6months they intend not be satisfied that you will leave the UK at the end of your visit

and you will seek employment

These all can be eliminated if you apply dependent visa which give the right to work and the stay is as long as the main applicant!
