I am on ILR, now moving out of UK, how long can I stay out?

Hello

I am on ILR and now moving to Singapore for the job.
Could any body please tell me how long can I stay out of UK without affecting my ILR status?
Would I have to reapply for the VISA if returning back?

If returning within 2 years, then no visa is required.
