Do I need to apply TOC before I extend my Tire 1 visa

Do I need to apply TOC before I extend my Tire 1 visa

Hi:

I am holding Tire 1 General visa right now and it will expire this year. My old passport was expired last year and I had new one from embassy.

I use both passport to travel between euro and UK several times and without any problem in UK border control. I am in doubt that because the Visa is on my old password, before I apply the extension of my visa, do I have to transfer my visa from old passport to new one firstly? Thank you very much in advance.

no you don't if you don't want to, you can send both OLD and NEW passports together and you will be fine.
