Tier 1 Dependant visa - in-person appointment?

Hope someone can help.

I'm applying for a leave to remain for my 4 month old child born in the UK, as we need to travel.

I'm confused as to whether this visa can be obtained through an in-person appointment. It seems to me it is listed as one of those on the UKBA website, but when I try to book an appointment I cannot select Tier 1 Dependant, only Tier 2 Dependant. When I called UKBA no one could help me with my question!

I really need the visa quickly and would rather not wait for ages as it is witha postal application.

It is straight forward..

Do not know where you are looking for Tier 2 dependent as there is no separate dependent option.


You need to select the standard one - PEO Tier 1/5.

Obviously, you will have to provide your details also as minors can not go on their own.

Sorry, I did mean just PBS Tier 2.

Sorry for being dumb, what is PEO? And it says "biometric desk" - it means my son will be getting the new biometric visa?
