RIGHT TO ABODE

I am an Australian citizen who has previously been granted a Right to Abode through my mother and grandparents being UK citizens at the time of my birth (1981).

I recently married and will be applying for another Right to Abode certificate for my new passport. My question is:
* can my husband also apply for a right to abode through me? We are planning on traveling/working together.

I do not think your spouse will have any special treatment. If you wish to settle with your spouse in the UK your spouse will apply for a visa to do this. in the same way as a British Citizen married to and living with their spouse overseas has to apply should they wish to live in the UK

Thanks Pennyless. We both travel with our work a lot, so we were hoping to enter and re-enter the country separately at most times. Oh well, looks like he's stuck in the immigration queue while I breeze through! ; )

what visa will your husband have to enter the UK for work?
